Fur Collar, c. 1900-1935. Long, slim collar made of a single piece of soft, dense brown fur (likely from the weasel or marten family; possibly fox), with a stripe of darker brown running down the center. One end is triangular, with shorter fur, likely from the head of the animal, while the other end is squared off. Underside is lined with black felted wool. Collar was used by adding to a plain wool coat. |
