    Blonde Llama Fur Cape, c. 1940-1950s. Blonde llama fur cape with mauve silk crepe lining. Poncho-shaped with armholes, seam pockets and gathered fabric to accommodate elbow movement. Crepe lining has piped seams. This cape (2020.002.001A) is part of a two-part matching set, including a fur pillbox hat ( 2020.002.001B) and a white floral embroidered handkerchief was found inside the proper right pocket (2020.002.001C).

Long, slim collar made of a single piece of soft, dense brown fur (likely from the weasel or marten family; possibly fox), with a stripe of darker brown running down the center.
