    "A War Job for Women" tin salvaging brochure, c. 1942-1945. This brochure was supposed to help raise awareness for women during World War II of the efforts that they can do to send relief and help in the war. Two of the examples shown in the brochure are tin salvaging and rationing fats. Brochure was manufactured, approved by the United States War Production Board and paid by the Coca Cola Company.

    Betmar Sunhat, c. 1940s-1960s. White colored wide brimmed hat is comprised of a woven straw-like material that has a slight sheen. Crown has straight sides and a rounded top that is slightly creased. A white satin ribbon forms a band around crown at brim and ends in a large bow at the proper right side of hat. Hat is completely woven with the brim turned up at edge and sewn flat, forming a hemmed edge. "Betmar" label is sewn to interior.

    Asymmetrical-brimmed Cloche, c. 1930s-1990s. The Halle Bros. Co. pink felt ladies hat has a dome-shaped crown with an asymmetrical brim that is 2.5" on the proper right and 3.875" on the proper left. A folded pink ribbed ribbon forms a band just above the brim that ends on the proper right with a bow secured by a fabric-wrapped button. Edges of bow are frayed. A pink 1" ribbon is sewn to interior between brim and crown.
