Vest-like overlay has two vertical slit openings with edges tacked open, on front and back of bodice, through which a sash may have passed through. Waist is dropped, and skirt consists of five vertical panels, which would have flared open with movement, revealing the beaded skirt of the teal dress. Edges of lace are scalloped.

    Pink Satin Bed Jacket with Inlaid Lace, c. 1920s. Pale pink silk satin bed jacket with inlaid off-white machine-lace on collar, down front and on cuffs. Shoulders are gathered, and sleeves are flared and have six vertical pintucks. Lace trim down front and collar is one continuous piece with cutaway construction. Front has five covered buttons and looped buttonholes. Jacket is possibly tailor-made and is possibly missing a dress.
