Metal head is rectangular shape than narrows to thin oval shape with rounded edge. Rectangular side of hammer head has eight flat edges.

    Cross-Cut Saw Handle, c. 1930-1960. Cylindrical wooden handle extends length. Screw attaches perpendicularly to wooden handle and runs length through wood. Opposite side of screw has cylindrical metal handle piece. Split rectangular metal piece rotates around screw next to handle. Screw ends with metal bolt.

    DC3 Tail Wheel Shear Pin, c. 1936-1955. Used to lock the airplane's tail wheel in the straight position for take-off and landing. Cylindrical metal tube with screw ridges at end. Other end has opening and screw ridges inside hole. Embossed yellow text on black label strips circumventing metal tube. Clear tape over labels secure labels to metal tube.

    Deer Scale, c. 1837-1868. Flat metal piece bent into open oval shape. Flat crescent metal piece attached inside metal oval with dash marks and numbering. Twisted metal piece used to gage weight attached at opposite side of oval. On bottom, large and small "S"hooks attached by metal rings to center oval. On top, small and large metal rings attached by metal rings to center oval.

    Dowel Cutter, c. 1930-1960. Interlocking metal and screw pieces attached to a circular ring tapering to three upward ridged rectangular metal shafts. Three shafts come together to circular metal shaft that indents to a four sided metal point. Dowel cutter, attaches to hand drill to score and cut end off of dowel.

    Foundry Ladle, c. 1910-1940. Ladle for lead for making fish weights. Long narrow handle that tapers to half sphere bowl. Bowl has two lips bisecting laterally from handle. Back side of long handle tapers inward in concave direction. Circular hole at end of handle.

    Railroad Lantern, n.d. Round circular base with ribbing narrows into a circular cylindrical center. Inside cylindrical center contains glass light, and glass lens in cone frame. Lever on side of cylindrical center opens and closes glass front. In base is a circular knob. Cylindrical center extends upward to a circular ring. Circular ring protrudes from top of light and topped with metal lid. Two metal screws attach a metal handle over top of lid.

    Stovetop Toaster, n.d. Square metal base with four sides that travel upward in a pyramid shape ending in finished squared top. Inside of pyramid shape is hollow. Four side have two vertical metal wires with an outward bulge at bottom, to lean slices of bread against pyramid walls. Wire attached to bent metal lip on top piece. Four columns of horizontal vents, for toasting, on each of the four sides of the pyramid walls.
