Shingling Hatchet, n.d. Wood handle tapers to hatchet head. Wooden handle goes through metal hatchet head in oval shape and tightly secured. Wood can be seen from top of metal head. Metal head has rectangular shape. Depth of metal rectangle tapers to cube shape. Top of metal head is flat and bottom of metal head scallops on side of wooden handle. Cube edge ends with raised texture. Metal head tapers on other side to thin blade with curved edge. Thin metal blade had two circular holes in top edge. Next to two holes is circular metal knob. Metal ring with screw clamp covers top edge of tin metal head next to two holes in blade. |
