Description |
Charm Bracelet, 1944, dark metal, very thin chain with six charms attached to it and two loose parts. The charms are approximately 0.5'' each, and they are shaped like: a fish with a head, three sets of scales and a tail attached together with tiny metal links; an abacus; an oriental style bird house; a siting Buddha; a candlestick rotary phone; a bag embossed with what seems to be a fish symbol on both sides (upside down heart with a triangle on the top), and it has a carrying pole attached to it. The two loose parts comprise one charm, a small compartment and its lid shaped like a seed. The compartment has a plant design embossed on both sides, probably indicating that it was used to store rice or some other kind of lucky seed. The bag charm is embossed with an upside down heart with a triangle on the top, probably a fish symbol, on both sides. |
