Japanese Mandoline, c. 1930-1970. Wooden mandoline is rectangular in shape with flat and serrated diagonal metal blades in the center secured with round knobs and wingnuts. Bottom wooden section is hinged swings backwards while top wooden section is secured in place. There is Japanese writing printed in black throughout the top. Used for slicing vegetables. |
