Notes |
Camp Adair, north of Corvallis, OR, was a US Army training site from 1942-1944. From 1944-1946, the US Navy operated a hospital and a prisoner-of-war camp for Italian and German prisoners of war. The US Air Force managed the property off and on until about 1960 before the land was redistributed; currently, parts of it form the city of Adair Village and other parts are a wildlife refuge.
