Description |
Enamel Colander, c. 1930s. Enamel metal colander has a porcelain finish that is seafoam green on the outside and pale peach on the inside. Bottom of bowl narrows to a circular base with a raised lip at the very bottom. Base forms a dome shape, to which the main bowl of the colander is attached. Base is hollow. Bowl is perforated throughout, for straining. Bowl tapers outwards to a half-inch flat lip. Two small handles are attached on each side just under the lip of the bowl. Handles are a rounded rectangular shape and are painted green. |
