Bullet, c. 1942-1946, likely a machine gun cartridge, made out of lead and gunpowder, golden-colored, has a pointed slightly darker projectile attached to a case that is thiner on the neck and thicker on the body. The rim is attached to the body after a small notch, and inserted into a recess in the center of the base it has a metal circle called "primer" which is a metal cup containing a primary explosive. |
