    Ampex Model 200A Reel Hold Downs, 1948. Solid steel flared disk with a concave top that has a hole through the center. Bottom has a small perpendicular metal cylinder protruding near the edge for placing on recorder. There is a second hole on the side with a bolt head in which to put an Allen wrench, presumably for securing once hold down is in place.
