Barrel Faucet, c. 1870-1890s. This faucet was probably used on a barrel or some other large container. It is made of brass and has a spigot at the top which is approximately 2" in length. There is a short, curved spout. At the other end is the valve which would probably attached to a barrel or some other large container.

It holds about 2 ounces capacity and has a sharp horizontal seam encircling the base of the finish that the vertical side seams terminate at.
