    Barrel Faucet, c. 1870-1890s. This faucet was probably used on a barrel or some other large container. It is made of brass and has a spigot at the top which is approximately 2" in length. There is a short, curved spout. At the other end is the valve which would probably attached to a barrel or some other large container.

It has a voluminous round body, a relatively long and slim neck almost the same hight as the body itself . The finish can be described as a blob or rounded collar with a ring. Bowl joins stem at a right angle, with a tiny foot on the bottom. There is a line of small carvings on the side of the stem, but the design is difficult to determine.     Gas Pipe Valves, c. 1885-1905. May have been used for cooking or lighting. There are three valves attached to the main piece of brass. One spigot is broken off at the top. The spigots would be turned in order to let gas flow through the brass pipes. The brass on this object is very oxidized.

    Glue or Ink Bottle, c. 1900-1910. A cylindrical bottle out of clear seen through glass that could have been made by a semi-automatic bottle machine. It holds about 2 ounces capacity and has a sharp horizontal seam encircling the base of the finish that the vertical side seams terminate at. The body is bulky and round with round shoulders, the neck is wide and open and has no ring or lip.
