    California Gold 25 Cent Piece, 1855. Tiny octagonal gold piece is embossed on one side with the head of an American Indian wearing a headdress encircled by stars at the top with the year "1855" embossed below. The second side has a grizzly bear walking on all four legs between a half-circle wreath of California poppies. Above the bear is embossed the text, "California Gold / 1/4."

    Paul I Russia Ruble, c. 1801. Sterling silver coin, with moderate oxidation and wear. Obverse has in relief, a cruciform with four crowns and is lettered: "MOHETA" and "1801" and has further lettering in Russian around the circumference near the rim. Reverse has in relief, a lettered inscription, in Russian, within a square, ornamented on each side with scrollwork.

  16. US Tax Commission Tokens, 1935 - Token, Tax

    US Tax Commission Tokens, 1935. 10 aluminum sales tax tokens, round with a hole in the middle. It has tiny metal bumps around the hole and the edge, and a high relief line that marks the diameter on both sides. There are high relief English inscriptions on both sides. The tokens are tied together with a metal wire which has a metal clip attached to it.
