  2. Adriance "Buckeye" Spring-tooth Harrow, 1897 - Harrow, Spring-Tooth

    "Buckeye" spring-tooth harrow is solid metal in two pieces. Both have three rows of springs, one with 3, 2 and 1 and one on each row and the other with 2, 3 and 2 on each row. Each unit has a set of solid metal wheels, each with five large flat spokes. Metal pulleys are attached to front of each unit beneath brackets for rigging. Vertical levers are attached to the back of each unit.

    Adriance Platt sulky two-horse sickle-bar Mower, 1892. Used for mowing fields of grain. Once mown, grains are left flat and scattered. Horse tree is wood painted a light yellow with unfinished wooden pieces mounted below it. Silver colored spiked blade extends out the right side and has two stained wooden handles mounted to end with green metal.     Sulky (seated) six-disk Avery harrow has a triangular body and two six-spoke wheels attached to central vertical axle in front so that it can rotate left to right. Spade-shaped seat has two rows of round perforations and is mounted to back of body and above disks.   21. Dain (John Deere) Wheel Buck Rake - Rake

    Wood and iron wheel buck rake has a metal axle in back with inset six-spoke wheels between center and ends. Axle is framed by two horizontal wooden boards attached with metal brackets and approximately eight to ten "rake" pieces extending out front. Front piece has two long wooden beams attached by a horizontal board at front at the ends of which are attached two more six-spoke wheels. A larger seven-spoke wheel is sitting on top.

    Solid iron metal walking ditching plow has a double-sided blade that comes to a point in the center. A curved iron beam is mounted behind blade and extends out front and has a double six-hole harness mount at end. Iron handles have iron cross-support pieces and adjustable metal curved perforated grips. A small wheel with three V-shaped spokes sits just below and behind blade.
