Crucible, c. 1910-1940. Crucible for making lead fishing weights, used in the ocean to catch fish and rock fish. Metal bar horizontally extending, intersecting the bottom of the metal bowl. Metal bar has ribbing closest to bowl. At bottom of bowl there is a protruding metal ring. Top lip of bowl has four protruding screws on outside raised rim.

Crucible with Lead and Slack, c. 1910-1940. Cylindrical base widens to rounded body. Two protruding metal pieces have holes for attached metal rounded handle. Inside cauldron holds square lead block and steel wool. Used to make fishing weights. Lead was manufactured by the Bunker Hill & Sullivan Mining and Concentrating Company in Kellogg, Idaho.
