Notes |
"It would not be a hyperbole to state that few men had more influence on Sequoia High School's athletic program in the first half of the 20th century than Al Terremere. A distinguished athlete at the school in the early 1920s, he became an All-American football player at Santa Clara University. He returned to Sequoia as a teacher and coach in 1931. He wound up running the school's football, baseball, and boxing programs. Sequoia's football stadium was designated as Terremere Field in 1950." [2009.030.176] |
