Plaque commemorating Bud Bresnahan of Jefferson High School being inducted into the San Mateo County Sports Hall of Fame on June 4, 2002. Plaque includes image of Bresnahan and a brief biography: "Named Northern California High School Coach of the Year in 1988, Bud Bresnahan was the first public school boy's basketball coach in San Mateo County history to capture a state championship. He did so at Jefferson that year. His career coaching record at Jefferson, Terra Nova High School in Pacifica and Canada College in Redwood City was 381-231. His prep teams won eight North Peninsula League crowns. At the two-year collegiate level, he was the Coast Conference Coach of the Year in 1993." |
