Description |
Green leaded silk dress with green damask print of alternating bouquets and single flowers. Dress has separate skirt that is gathered at waist and closes at back. Silk is attached to strip of white cotton. Top has puffed sleeves with a ruffle at the elbow. Waist tapers to a point in front. Front is pleated from waste with a rounded neckline. Metal hook and eye closures at back. Underskirt is dark blue shiny synthetic with a dark blue and white dot cotton bustle cover with ties that have been cut with pinking shears and closes with snaps. Dress and underskirt are displayed on a dress form that is covered in cloth with a metal top and wooden dowel above top. Form sits on a single black pole with four legs on casters and has wire frame to keep shape of long dress. |
