Peninsula Police Officers Association Badge, c. 1927-1960. Gold metal badge in the shape of a seven-pointed star; each triangular point on the star has a recessed leaf pattern. The central circle is plain of decoration and has "PENINSULA POLICE OFFICERS ASSOCIATION" stamped on it in black, with "CALIFORNIA" stamped on a small banner partially overlapping the star's bottom points. |

The primary mission and duty of the PPOA is and has always been to provide financial assistance to the spouses and families of police officers taken from our ranks."
