Description |
Raychem Corporation Thermofit Marker Sleeves, c. 1980s-1990s. One strip of Thermofit Marker Sleeves (TMS) produced by the Raychem Corporation. The product has multiple 0.5" x 2.125" pieces of yellow tubing that are attached with pink tape to white nylon strips. The white nylon strips have sprocket holes for loading the strip of TMS into a printing machine. Raychemer Jim Thompson notes that the tubing is partially shrunken down on the strips. The roll would be fed into a machine that would print labels on the outside of the tubes. Once marked, the tubes would be slid onto a wire in an electrical harness. |
