Description |
Kendo Riot Stick used by the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office. Solid-oak wooden stick is painted black. "Blade" is oval in shape with a very subtle curve along the length of the three-edged top. Handle has four notches on underside just before blade that serve as a grip, #45 stamped on handle. Tip of blade curves upward while round cylindrical handle has a blunt end. Sheriffs would use this in a riot to push people back. It was used by horse patrol and could also be used as a sword for hitting people (usually aimed at shoulder). |
