Description |
CA State Parks Backpack, c. 2005-2015. Red and silver polyester backpack. The backpack has three pockets: two front pockets and one large, main, pocket. The first front pocket is a long rectangular pocket along the bottom half of the face of the backpack. On the bottom right corner of the pocket is a black and silver oval logo. The pocket opens via a black zipper along the top. Above this pocket is a round red pocket with a black colored bottom, which is also opened along the top with a zipper. Vertically, along the front of the pocket, is a piece of black woven fabric sewn into the pocket with silver string in various places. The fabric is sewn in such a way as to create loops, which, presumably, are meant for things to be attached to the backpack. Hanging from the top loop is a black plastic carabiner. On the top right of the pocket is an oval piece of black plastic with an image of headphones on the top. The plastic is cut into a star shape in the middle, in which is a hole leading to the inside of the pocket. Inside the pocket are two divider pockets along the front and back wall of the compartment. Directly below this pocket, are two black plastic, female buckles. The main pocket of the backpack is opened via a zipper and can be zipped nearly the full length of the backpack. Inside the main compartment is a lunch box with the same color scheme and logo as the backpack. On top of the backpack is a red and black handle with a black mesh cushion underneath. A clear plastic travel tag is looped around the handle. Inside, is a piece of paper which says "I discovered / (C)MAUi / MONKEY(R) / HAWAII" with a green illustration of a cartoon monkey head on the front. The shoulder straps have a similar back mesh cushion on the underside of the strap. The face of the straps are red and silver, with the top 1/4 portion being silver and the rest red. The straps are adjustable. On the left side of the backpack, is a black mesh water bottle holder and on the right side are three pen pockets. On the underside of the backpack, there is a black Velcro loop. |
