Description |
Model Swift Boat, 1968. Plastic and wood model of a Swift Boat (A) and plastic stand (B). Boat's underside is made of red-painted wood and everything else is gray plastic. The bow is pointed and the stern is squared off; on the front half of the boat is a cabin with clear plastic windows, a gun turret, and orange life preservers. At the very front is a painted-on rope and anchor, and near the stern of the boat is a gun mounted on a tripod and another painted rope and anchor. "10" is painted in gold on each side of the bow. The stand (B) is flat, gray plastic, and has three raised columns, their tops rounded to fit the shape of the boat's underside. |
