Half Moon Bay Art & Pumpkin Festival Poster, 2002. Poster print of a painting by January Hooker. Painting is in landscape orientation and depicts a coastal scene, with two brown rocky hills covered in yellow and purple flowers rising on each side and forming a valley in the middle. Through this valley, the viewer sees a sandy beach and dark blue ocean with a cresting wave. At the bottom of the painting, in the foreground, are clusters of pumpkins surrounded by grass and multicolored flowers, with a broken fence above them in the bottom right corner. Painting is surrounded by a narrow green border. Below it, on a white background, is printed "Half Moon Bay Art & Pumpkin Festival 2002" in green. Frame is narrow and natural-looking brown wood. On the back of the frame is a certificate of authenticity, stating that this print is number 47 of a limited edition collection, a small informational paragraph about the painting and artist, and a sticker for Arrowhead Framing. |
