Paul Pickett Peninsula Sports Hall of Fame Plaque, 2014. Plaque includes image of Paul Pickett and a brief biography: "The dynamic and ultra-athletic Paul Pickett, as a six-foot guard, was a dominate figure in Peninsula prep basketball circles. Paul was highly recruited by numerous colleges; he was named to the All-League, All country Team and was MVP at San Mateo High School. While at St. Mary's College in Moraga, he continued to shine. In fact, his accomplishments remain firmly enshrined in the Gaels' record book. In his career, Paul is among the school's all-time leaders in scoring (1,131 points), field goals made (505), free throw percentage (.834) and assists (298). He was named to the all-West Coast Conference first team during his sophomore and junior seasons at St Mary's." |
