Description |
Russell Baze Commemorative Bobblehead, 2006. Bobblehead (A) comes with box (B). Polychrome painted plaster base and plastic body shows jockey Russell Baze. The base is yellow with green on the top to represent grass. On the front of the base "RUSSELL BAZE" is visible and "Bay Meadows" appears on the back. The figure is standing with his feet apart and is wearing black boots, white pants, a long sleeve green top that has white cuffs, a white collar and a white bow tie. His left arm is bent with his fist placed on his hip. His right arm is slightly bent holding a black riding crop in his hand. His head is oversized compared to his body. The figure is smiling and has brown hair. He is wearing a green helmet with goggles resting on the brim. The helmet has a chin strap attached under the figure's chin. The head is attached to the body by a spring so that the head moves back and forth with vibration. The front of the jacket is signed with "Russell / Baze" in silver ink with cursive script. "Baze" is smeared. On the right side of the helmet, "Russell / Baze" also appears in silver ink. There is paper label adhered to the bottom that reads, "WORLD / PROMTIONAL PRODUCTS, INC. / 949-221-0690 / Made in China." "WORLD" has a compass graphic for the 'O'. The figure's box (B) is glossy white cardboard and has the Bay Meadows logo on the front in teal ink. Below a the "Bay Meadows" logo is printed "Russell Baze / COMMEMORATIVE BOBBLEHEAD." A gold oval "MADE IN CHINA" sticker is adhered to the bottom of the box. The figure came nested in white Styrofoam that fits in the cardboard box. |
