Description |
Raychem Corporation Cable Display, c. 1980s-1990s. Black plastic case printed with a red "Raychem" Corporation logo contains two cable display boards showing pieces of partially stripped cable. Each plastic coated white board is discrete and rests on a piece of red foam lining the case. A red "Raychem" logo is printed on both boards in the upper right corner. The upper board is titled in red, "Multicore cable screening systems" and contains five pieces of cable (clockwise from top left): Aluminised mylar; Single optimized braid; Single superscreen; Double superscreen; Double optimized braid. Text at upper right reads, "Controlled screening levels for EMI protection," and a graph at upper left shows "Screening performance of various types of Screen Construction." The bottom panel is titled in red, "Limited fire hazard cables." Bulleted text at upper left reads, "Small size, light weight cables / Wires qualified to Def. Std 61-12 pt 18 issue 3 type 1 (flexible) / Cable sheath qualified to Def. Std 61-12pt 31 / Cables qualified to Def. Std 61-12 pt 25." Cables attached to the board include (clockwise from top left): 6145-99-743-0490; 6145-99-743-0503; 6145-99-743-0510; NATO stock number 6145-99-743-0530; 6145-99-743-0465. The "NATO"cable at bottom has white print on its black outer jacket that reads, "743-0530 DSP25-1-19/0.15 GBXSS F." |
