Wood and acrylic plaque commemorating Beatrice Godoy of Mercy High School and College of San Mateo who was inducted into the San Mateo County Sports Hall of Fame on June 10, 2003. Plaque includes image of Godoy and a brief biography: "Quick, gritty, and intelligent, Beatrice Godoy was a multi-talented 1990s athlete at both Mercy High School and the College of San Mateo. Basketball and softball were her strengths. At CSM, she was a first team all-state basketball/softball player in her sophomore season, becoming the first San Mateo County female ever to capture both honors concurrently. She matriculated to Pepperdine University where she was one of the best basketball point guards in the West Coast Conference. |
