Description |
Stoneworking Air Hammer, c. 1920-1925. Rusted cylindrical iron metal tool for shaping and cutting granite. The main cylinder has 14 in high and has a diameter of 2.25 inches with a whole of approx. 1 inch on the lower base. At the top is a cylindrical hole approximately 1/2 inches diameter. On the side of the top part is a cylindrical hole with approximately 1/2 inches diameter. It has an iron belt on the upper part of the main cylinder which has two 6.5 in cylindrical vertical bolts on each side. Each bolt is encircled with 5 washers above the nut. Above the center belt it has a larger belt that is approximately 3 in long with a triangular projection on one side with a 1/2 in hole at its base. |
