Description |
Shadows Continental Food Matchbook, c. late 1960s. Paper matchbook has had staple and matches removed so that it could be stored flat. Back has a color interior [Norton Pearl] photograph of the San Mateo restaraunt showing red seats, red or blue checked tablecloths, a red and gold patterned floor and wooden paneling. Front has the Shadows logo with a man in a red hat, red bow tie and red checked jacket next to a window with a brick wall in the background. Interior of matchbook has a red and blue sketch of the exterior of Shadows showing a large picture window, large red awning over the door and a large sign at the top of the building. |
