Description |
Model Poses Inside Hillsdale Shopping Center Heart, 1960. Black and white negative of the "Heart of the Peninsula" sign at Hillsdale Shopping Center. The image shows a model as she poses for a publicity photograph. She sits on the right side inside of the large heart sculpture in front of a sign for David Bohannon's Hillsdale Shopping Center. The model wears a dress with a tropical print and is barefoot. She holds the edges of the heart as if to keep herself in place. The heart appears to be in a shallow pool and is in front of a large stone wall with signage that reads, "HILLSDALE / HEART OF TH[E] [PENI]NS[ULA] / DAVID D. BOHANNON." |
