Black and White Photograph of Fountain Sculpted by Gaston Rognier. Three tiered stone fountain in a yard surrounded by other fountains. Two robed female figures hold up the second tier. The third tier is supported by a fluted floral pillar, and atop of the entire fountain is another female figure in a contrapposto stance. Three stone birds sit at the base of the fountian at left, center, and right posed as if they were about to drink water. |

Notes |
Gaston Rognier, was a well know artisan who had a garden ornament business on the corner of Barneson & El Camino (San Mateo) that was established around 1909. His son, Andre Rognier, assumed ownership of the business sometime in the 1950s after Gaston had a stroke and continued the business until retiring sometime in the mid 1970s.
