    Glass Whiskey Bottle, c. 1850-1969. Hand-blown green glass whiskey bottle has a flat oval shape that tapers severely into a long thin neck. Top inch of the neck flares out. The top rim is very irregular in its thickness. There is a raised piece of glass that wraps around neck and hangs down center of front of bottle to create a decoration. Base is concave with broken raised piece in center. There are bubbles thorughout.

    Jesse Moore Whiskey, 1918. Brown glass whiskey bottle is cylindrical with a tapered shoulder, a long slightly tapered neck and a bulbous ring around the 1" tapered lip. Bottle has a broken cork stopper in top and contains 3" of liquid. Embossed on one side and painted white is lettering that reads, "JESSE / MOORE / WHISKEY." On opposite side is a brown paper label with "1918 / WHISKEY" handwritten in pencil.

The rim is .75 inches high with a .125 inches band below it. The 3.5 inches long neck flares out 1.875 inches to a 6 inches cylindrical body. Bottle is pressed glass with a vertical seam extending up one side and a raised horizontal band at top of body.
