Bullet Mold, c. 1847Bullet mold carried overland from Tennessee to California by Alexander Moore in 1847. Bullet is pressed into mold. Shaped like tongs with a hinge toward small bowl-shaped ends. Solid metal with tapered handles.

Cadet Sword, pre-1847 - Sword
Cadet Sword, pre-1847. Broken sword found in Utah by the Moore family in 1847. Small cadet-type sword, European style with an extra small grip. Crossguard (3.5") has two circular designs on either end. Grip consists of circular designs around entirety of grip (3.5"). Broken blade of sword is approximately 8.250" in length. Blade of sword has two indents which run the length of the blade on either side.

Powder Horn, c. 1840s - Horn, Powder
Powder Horn, c. 1840s. Made from cow horns and is approximately 12" in length. At the wide end is a twisted piece of wire which could be used to hang powder horn from a strap. At the narrow end is the tip of the powder horn which can be taken off in order to pour contents.
