    Benjamin Franklin Hotel Dish, c. 1927-1960. Small, circular clear glass bowl, likely an ashtray. The sides of the bowl have three ridges running around the circumference. Painted in white on the bottom, in reverse so it is seen the correct way looking down at the inside of the bowl, is "Benjamin Franklin Hotel / San Mateo / California" and a portrait sketch of Benjamin Franklin.
