    Three Cities Defense Council Doctor sign, c. 1942-1945. This sign is used by the Three Cities Defense Council to let residents and other civil defense volunteers know who are the doctors in the civil defense program. The purpose of this item is to have more efficiency and awareness in case of air raids and other mishaps on the home front in times of war.
