    19th Century Crock Butter Churn. Crock body (.001) is tall and cylindrical with a tapered neck and flared rim. Lid (.002) rests inside rim of body and has a hole in the center for dasher. Dasher (.003) is solid oak wood with a handle that tapers slightly toward end. Base of dasher has two flat rectangular cross pieces with a round hole in the center of each of the four tips.

    Butter Paddle, c. 1920-30s. Unfinished wooden butter paddle is rectangular in shape with vertical ribbing on one side. Handle and paddle are one flat piece, 1/4" thick, and the handle is bulbous on the sides. Ribbed side of paddle tappers at flat bottom.

    Dazey Glass Butter Churn, c. 1922-1944. Churn has a 1922 crank mechanism (A) and wooden paddle (B) with a 1944 replacement glass jar (C). Jar (C) is bulbous toward the bottom with four vertical recessed sections at "corners." Between recessed "corners" are horizontal ribbed sections in the shape of trapazoids.     Milk Can, c. 1920s-1950s. Steel Milk Can has a cylindrical body that tapers inward to a narrower cylindrical spout. Spout has a curved lip.     Small milk cart used for transporting milk from the milking shed to the storage cellar. Has large ten-spoke black painted iron metal wheels, a four-plank wooden platform and a horizontal wooden handle with tapered grips mounted to cart and wheels via black painted flat iron metal brackets.
