    Black Glass Beer Bottle, c. 1870s. This black or amber colored non seen through glass bottle is possibly a dip molded ale bottle. It has a voluminous round body, a relatively long and slim neck almost the same hight as the body itself . The finish can be described as a blob or rounded collar with a ring. There is no label or cap.

    Black Glass Beer Bottle, c. 1890s. This longneck beer bottle has a bulge to the neck, a relatively slim diameter body and is made out of dark brown (amber) to black glass. The neck is almost as long as the bottle's body. The blob finish could be described as an English Ring, or Deep Lip (packer finish). This Export style of beer bottle doesn't have a label or cap.

    John Rapp & Son Brown Beer Bottle, c. 1900-1920. Brown tinted glass bottle that is cylindrical in shape. Two seams extend length of bottle to neck. Body tapers to a bulbous neck with a raised bulbous mouth. Bottle has embossed text on side of body reading, "JOHN RAPP & SON / S.F. CAL.". Several air bubbles throughout glass. Bottle is empty.
