Hand-crocheted Nut Cup, n.d. Hand-Crocheted, creme-colored cup with a handle attached across the diameter. The crochet pattern on the cup is 2 rows of a continuous loops forming 10 circles per row and the handle is the same loop pattern forming 11 circles. The height of the cup is 1.25in. and the hand extends another 1.75in. above that.

Sake Bowl. The Japanese porcelain bowl was used together with the sake set. It is blue and white in color with a gold rim. Bowl also has a hand-painted motif of two blue flowers and a green butterfly. Made in Japan.

Wash Basin, c. 1910-1930s. Wash basin that matches wash pitcher 2013.014.001A. Ceramic basin has a gloss white glaze and is embossed with scroll work around top of rim. Bowl has a small base, curved sides that widen at the top and end in a flared decorative rim.

Wooden Bowl and Lid, c. 1880-1930 - Bowl, Serving
Wooden Bowl and Lid, c. 1880-1930. Bowl (.001) is made of a bright orange-yellow wood. It is shallow and oval-shaped, almost circular. Bottom has a black stamp for Parrish Chicago. Lid (.002) is a round, flat piece of a duller wood with a narrow knob in the center, attached by a rusted nail. The wood has a small but prominent knothole near the edge. The edges of the lid are frayed/flaking. Both are likely hand-carved/cut.

Wooden Mixing Bowl, 1845. Large round wooden bowl, likely handmade, wide and relatively shallow. Inside of bowl has small concentric ridges following the rings of the wood. The outside of the bowl is smoother, but these ringed ridges are still apparent in places. A small part of the outside edge has been sliced off.
