Milano, Bob |
Notes |
"For Bob Milano, baseball has been more than a game. It's been a way of life. A former catcher at UC Berkeley, he took over the Burlingame High School baseball program in 1964 and led the Panthers to Mid-Peninsula League titles in 1968 and 1970. He moved back to Cal and, as head coach there, he produced 679 victories, the most in the school's history. Three of his teams went to the College World Series. In 1997, he was the head coach of the USA National Baseball Team." [2009.030.122] |
