Born in Salt Lake City, but raised in Oakland and the Bay Area. Studied at College of Arts & Crafts in Oakland, School of Fine Arts in San Francisco and the Pittsburgh Art Institute. Original trade was in lithography but has painted in all media all his life. Lived in Spain for eleven years and in Germany for four. Exhibited in Germany, Spain, South Africa, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and the Bay Area. Was a featured artist at Art-Rise in 1985. OBJECTIVES FOR PAINTING "SAN BRUNO THEATER" AND "SAN BRUNO MOUNTAIN" "I had a strong affinity for the two paintings as I lived there so many years and they became old friends to me." |
