Name |
Byrnes, Eric |
Notes |
"If you care to judge a professional athlete by his energy level, Eric Byrnes is probably off the chart. The enthusiastic, freewheeling outfielder of the Arizona Diamondbacks of the National League gives new meaning to the phrase "Baseball Hustle." And he has talent to boot. In 2007, he drove in 83 runs, scored 103 and had 288 total bases. As a collegian at UCLA, he posted a .331 career batting average and stroked 75 doubles, a Pac-10 Conference record. He has been a pro for 10 years." [2009.030.032] |
