Coaxial Connector Contact, c. 1960s-1970s. One 16mm color film with sound, approximately 500' and 13:32 min. The film discusses features of Raychem's coaxial cable contacts, including single piece construction and controlled solder terminations at both center conductor and shield. The film shows manual preparation and installation with a Raychem heater "zap gun" and automated assembly equipment for high production applications. The film was originally stored in a brown metal film canister, 9.5" diameter x 1" with a Raychem Corporation label, "1613-11 / COAXIAL CONTACTS / Color, sound, music." A piece of broken leader stored with the film reads, "Sound & Scene - 'Coaxial Connector Contact'." |
