Untitled [Bohannon Building San Lorenzo], c. 1944-1945. Color sound film shows the construction of San Lorenzo Village, a planned community designed and built in the 1940s by the David D. Bohannon Organization on unincorporated land between San Leandro and Hayward in Alameda County. The film emphasizes the assembly line construction process and narrates the story of the Bohannon Organization purchasing land, building houses, installing roads and utilities, and selling the buildings as part of a new community.
