Description Apothecary Bottle, c. 1912-1920. Clear glass rectangular bottle rounded on 3 sides and flat on one side; narrow neck with flared rim. Machine made, tooled finsih with cup bottom mold and air venting marks.

Provenance Found At the Frank Tannery Site in Redwood City. the Tannery Was in Business From 1874 To 1959, After Which the Building Was Abandoned.
The Building Burned Down in 1968, the Chimney and the Water Tower Was All That Remained.
Notes Machine made, tooled finish bottles date after 1890
Cup bottom molds date from 1880s to 1915-1920
Air venting marks date after 1885-1890
Clear glass with straw tint no earlier than 1912
Cork closures ended in the mid-1930s
