Description Woven Wool Throw Rug, n.d. Warp is comprised of dark tan 1/8" jute(?) cordage through which the weft, comprised of wool yarn, is woven. Design is comprised of two 8" sections horizontal stripes 6 1/2" from top and bottom. From the center radiating out above and below, the symmetrical stripes' colors within each section are: white, pink, red, berry, lavender, black, dark green, medium green, light green, yellow, white, lavender, red, berry, plumb, white and black. Sides of rug are finished with cotton fabric sewn in place: blue and white pillow ticking on one side and brown and white calico with a tiny floral motif on the other.
