Description San Pedro Mission Outpost by A. Chase1865. Watercolor painting on paper mounted onto ecru-colored mat board under glass inside a black painted wooden frame with a gold-colored inner border. Image depicts the two-story Sanchez Adobe (established 1785 in Pacifica, CA) when it had an extension out the left side. Two story building has railing at both levels in front and rectangular windows on both floors. Building is nestled next to a hillside and foreground is filled with rows of crops, grazing cattle and figures waling on a path leading to the house. There is a wooden building behind the outpost with a wooden fence between the two.
