Description Plaque commemorating Rudy Law of Ravenswood High School being inducted into the San Mateo County Sports Hall of Fame on June 22, 2006. Plaque includes image of Law and a brief biography: "Withough question, there has been no one quite like Rudy Law ever produced here on the Peninsula. He is simply the greatest baseball thief ever in these parts. In 1978, he stole 79 bases for Albuquerque. He moved up to the Los Angeles Dodgers full-time two years later and promptly set a then-rookie record with 40 thefts in 128 games. Later, with the Chicago White Sox, he set a club record with 77 stolen bases and helped them compete for the American League crown. A knee injury ended his career prematurely."
