Description Plaque commemorating John Casselli of Serra High School being inducted into the San Mateo County Sports Hall of Fame on June 4, 2002. Plaque includes image of Caselli and a brief biography: "As a three-sport star at Serra in the 1970s, John Caselli was a marked man in the West Catholic Athletic League. He was a focus of opponents' attention in football, basketball, and baseball. He caught 16 TD passes in 1974 for the Padres. That is a single-season Serra record. He had 87 career pass receptions as well. He scored 843 career basketball points. Later at UC- Berkeley, he was a three-year starter on the Bears' basketball team. He played basketball for one season in Europe."
